BOY WALNUT’S GIFT-O-RAMA 2025!<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n

Psst psst hoy!<\/span><\/strong>
\nThe special Boy Walnut Gift-O-Rama<\/strong> (White Elephant) game is happening again! No need to bring anything<\/em> – there will be a variety of mystery gifts (combined value over $650!<\/strong><\/span>) wrapped up specifically for the giveaway. These will be used according to our standard White Elephant rules, but the only difference here is that every gift in the game is actually a Christmas gift \ud83c\udf81 <\/strong>from me to all of you<\/span> \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

This year the Gift-O-Rama<\/strong> items will be from popular brands such as:<\/p>\n

Player Order is via Triple Random Draw<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe raffle ticket<\/strong> that you win during Mom’s Christmas Bingo <\/strong>will determine the order at which each player will select a Christmas Wind-up Pal:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Each Pal will have a number on it, and that is the player’s order in the White Elephant game. This way the order will be as random as possible due to the triple random draw (bingo win, raffle ticket, and pal)<\/p>\n

My Gift to You… or is it?<\/strong><\/span>
\nThe player with the Christmas Windup Pal #1<\/strong> will start the game, and\u00a0 select any wrapped gift<\/strong> from the pool, unwrap it, and place it on the table in front of them. \ud83d\ude42 This is my gift to you… OR IS IT?<\/strong> Because like any standard White Elephant game, it may be stolen by another player!<\/p>\n

How the Game Plays Out<\/strong>
\n<\/strong><\/span>Each round of the game starts with each new unwrapped gift.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • The first player (via raffle) selects a wrapped gift<\/strong> from the gift pool, unwraps it, and places it on the table in front of them. This officially starts the game.<\/li>\n
  • The next player (via raffle) has two options:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      \n
    1. STEAL:<\/strong> Player can choose to steal any already unwrapped gift<\/strong> that is on the table (provided it wasn’t just stolen from them or is locked out after 3 steals); If a gift is stolen, the player whose gift was stolen from them becomes the next player.<\/li>\n
    2. OPEN A NEW GIFT:<\/strong> Player can go and select a wrapped gift<\/strong>, unwrap it, and place it on the table in front of them. If a new gift is unwrapped, a new round has begun, and the next player will be the next selected via raffle.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      If a player’s gift is stolen, they immediately become the current player. We will repeat the above until there are no more unwrapped gifts in the gift pool.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      RULE CHANGES FOR 2025!
      \n<\/strong><\/span>For this year a few of rules have been revised, see the rule set below:<\/p>\n

      Rule #1: One Steal Per Round
      \n<\/strong>An unwrapped gift<\/strong> can be stolen only ONCE<\/strong> per round (a gift cannot be stolen again until another gift has been unwrapped). If all unwrapped gifts<\/strong> have been stolen once, the next player will be drawn via raffle and select a new wrapped<\/strong> gift to start a new round.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Rule #2: No “Steal Backs”<\/strong><\/span>
      \nYou cannot steal an unwrapped gift<\/strong> that was stolen from you in the same round<\/em>. You can, however, attempt to steal it again later (if you get a chance) after a new gift has been unwrapped (and a new round begins).<\/p>\n

      Rule #3 REVISED: <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/span>No Gift is Locked In!\u00a0<\/strong>
      \n<\/strong>All unwrapped gifts<\/strong> are open in the game – there is no “gift lock” anymore, so ANY<\/strong> gift can be stolen at ANY<\/strong> time, as long as it doesn’t break Rule #1 (has not yet been stolen in the round) and it doesn’t break Rule #2 (no direct “steal backs”).<\/p>\n

      Rule #4 <\/strong><\/span>REVISED<\/strong>:<\/strong>\u00a0One Box Check alowed<\/strong><\/span>
      \n<\/strong><\/span>A player going to the gift pool is allowed ONE (1) box check – they can lift or shake one wrapped gift in the pool prior to selecting.<\/p>\n

      Rule #5 REVISED<\/span>:\u00a0 No Putbacks (after a box check)<\/span>
      \n<\/strong><\/span>Once a player touches, moves or picks a wrapped gift up from the gift pool (after their 1 allowed box check), that is their choice and they must open it!<\/p>\n

      Rule #6: No Teaming Up!
      \n<\/strong>Ideally, no teaming up\/coordinating with other players to try to get a particular gift.<\/del>
      \nRule removed, because people still do this<\/span>\u00a0anyways.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Rule #7 NEW FOR 2025<\/span>:\u00a0 First Draw Gets a Chance to Extend the Game<\/span>
      \n<\/strong><\/span>Whoever draws first (#1) will also have the option to extend the game once all gifts have been opened! In other words, once the last (#12) player has a gift, we will return back to the first draw (#1) and that first draw player will have the option to steal someone else’s gift! If player #1 chooses to steal, their opened gift goes to the person they stole from. That person is the next player that can steal someone else’s gift (and give theirs to the person they stole from) or keep what they have. If a player chooses to keep the gift they have, then everyone has a gift and the game has ended.<\/p>\n
